Summary: Field of Flowers 2006-08-16
Comment: For the past week I kept wondering why my house reminded me of a field of flowers. The last time I cleaned my house I used a soft cloth and a little water with a few drops of lilac oil. I then remembered I had become a little ambitious and had completely polished the dining room table with lilac essential oil. I had then walked around polishing all the windowsills and the bookcases. I'm amazed at the way the scent permeated the entire house and I love how you can use a natural essential oil as a furniture polish. I have used lavender oil blended with furniture oil in the past, but the lilac oil nourished the wood and the fragrance lingers in a comforting way. I hope they list the lilac oil again because I'm complete out and the Caswell-Massey essential oils are very impressive. I use them in baths all the time and I can also recommend the Rose, Egyptian Musk and Ylang Ylang. I'm thinking vanilla oil would be amazing on kitchen cabinets.
