Marc Jacobs Daisy in the Air

Comment: This is a very creamy body lotion, not the thin, watery type. It is very moisturizing and does not leave the skin feeling greasy. I also like the fragrance level; it's strong enough to be worn alone if going somewhere (work, a meeting, etc.) that you don't want the fragrance to be too strong, and it's excellent for layering with Daisy perfume for a night out. The only surprise with this product is that it is "sparkly" on your skin. I have no idea why Marc Jacobs thinks it's necessary for women to look glittery, but it's the only thing I don't like about the product, so I have given it a highly favorable rating.

Comment: I first learned of this fragrance when a friend was wearing it and I couldn't wait to buy it. Of course, I'm a smart Amazon shopper and knew I could most likely find it on here at a better price than in a department store. That was definitely the case and it arrived super fast. This is a nice, light scent that lasts a long time. I always get compliments when I'm wearing it. It has some glitter to it as well, but it's not too much and is just a small amount.

Comment: The product smells nothing like the bottle in the store. When I put it on I feel like I just sprayed bad bathroom air freshener on me. I think the product I received is a much cheaper version of the product I intended to purchase

Comment: I would've been very disappointed with this perfume if I had spent more money on one of the larger sizes. This fragrance, or, eau de toilette, doesn't stick around. When I smelled it in the bottle, it had a gentle floral and slightly sweet smell that was lovely at first, but not long after I applied it, I was left with a less appealing musky smell that quickly faded into nothing. I didn't give up on it, though, and continued wearing it. I couldn't smell it on myself and neither could anyone else. When I told my friend that I was wearing perfume, she could hardly believe me. What's the point of wearing a perfume that doesn't last? Daisy has a lovely scent, but no endurance.

Only 5-15% of eaux de toilette like Daisy are made up of aromatic compounds while something more substantial like eau de parfum contains 10-20%. If you absolutely adore Daisy but are frustrated with the staying power, I would recommend you get the solid perfume. As for me, I'm still on the hunt for the perfect fragrance.
