Summary: Too loud and gross... 2010-09-01
Comment: Someone had mentioned that it reminded them of old ladies coming home from church. That's exactly how I felt when I first smelled this. It also reminded me a bit of secret baby powder deodorant which I detest. After a while it does become a little bearable but, honestly, I couldn't get it off of me fast enough. If you're looking for something light and subtle please look elsewhere. If you really hate someone, Lovely by SJP makes a great gift!

Comment: I am a fan of lovely by Jessica Parker. It is feminine and a soft fragrance. If the scent lasted longer I would give it five stars. That is the only problem with lovely. The scent fades quickley.

Comment: I bought this for my mother for mother's day. She absolutely loves it and I love the way it smells as well. It's light enough for an every day Spring/Summer scent, but it's still mature enough for a woman who is middle aged or older. It would also work very well on someone my own age (I'm 20).
It's a great perfume and I highly recommend it.

Comment: I received this perfume as a gift and was very excited to try it since Oprah had given it her seal of approval. Unfortunately, it smells like a depillatory when initially applied. After an hour or so, it settles and becomes pleasant. I layer it with the body lotion which is quite good as a moisturizer but, just like the perfume, it has a strong cloying, harsh, chemical smell when I first put it on. Also, I don't know if this matters or not, but I have never gotten a compliment on it.

This company is not reputable although the product is good.,
JUST BEWARE!!! The company that you will be purchasing it from on here is not reputable and if you have an issue with the product, they require you to spend a copay to see a physician to get a note stating that you had a "skin condition" and then go their website to fill out a return form, THEN they may (or may not) approve it.... WAYYYYYY ridiculous!!!!
Or, they ONLY refund for unused and unopened!
